Employment Employment
Finding a job as a disabled person is often not very easy to do. That is why it is even more important for you to know your rights and your obligations as a worker, know what measures exist to make it easier for you to find a job and know what you can do if you are discriminated against during the hiring process. In Belgium employers of disabled people are given a non negligible financial advantage (a part of the salary corresponding tothe loss of performance is paid by the regional fund for disabled people), as well as financial support for workplace adjustments. Employers are often  not aware of their rights. That is why workers should help each other stay up to date with the latest news so that they can put forward all their assets.
